Exercise. A regular exercise regimen can not only make you feel much better
psychologically about how you look, but doing so releases the “feel good”
chemicals, endorphins, into your system, which physically makes you feel
better, as well. Exercise does
not have to be strenuous, as evidenced by the rise in popularity of
work-outs such as Yoga and Tai Chi. Something as simple as taking a walk constitutes exercise, as does
just standing up and stretching at your desk or work station. You don’t have to become “buff” or carry a “six-pack” to exercise,
you just have to do something that gets you up off the couch and allows
those endorphins to be released into your blood stream.
